Embrace Discomfort: Steps to Personal Growth


Have you ever felt uncomfortable in a situation that you put yourself into? I know how that feels and its all too familiar for me, I always did what I wanted to do and then when I was uncomfortable I often tried to figure out how I got into the position I was in. I had to realize it was me all along but see the problem I use to have was

I blamed others, I didn’t accept that it was my fault

It was someone else fault that I ended up where I was at

It wasn’t my fault

I use to be bitter

I use to be a cry baby because one the situation was too bad Instead of fighting my way out, I would play the victim and where did that get me…. no where at all

I decided one day when I looked in the mirror it was all my fault and I have to decide how to become stronger and set boundaries

I had to see that if I say no then I can slowly gain control over the situation in a good way

I have to realize I am able to make sure I am going to be better, stronger, and wiser. I thank God that he has help me become a better version than what I use to be.
